- This vacancy has been filled -On behalf of Walraven Group in Mijdrecht we are looking for a General Manager Benelux with a strong focus on sales and key account management.
As General Manager Benelux you will play a key role in realizing Walraven's ambitious growth strategy for the Benelux region. The region's revenue is expected to grow from 33 million to over 60 million euros by 2027. You will be responsible for the financial results (P&L) in the Benelux, including cash flow, CAPEX requirements, and actively shaping and guiding the transition process. Your challenge lies in the complete process, from vision, strategy, and operational plan to effectively achieving revenue growth for the region and the countries within it. You will manage an experienced Benelux Management Team consisting of sales, marketing, operations, logistics, financial, and HR professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Sales are conducted through direct and indirect channels, including key accounts, agents, and OEMs. You will monitor the results through reports and key performance indicators, providing advice and support where needed. You will also be actively involved in sales activities yourself. You will maintain contact with key (potential) customers, identify commercial opportunities, and work on strengthening the channels involved in the sales process.
An important task also involves driving and guiding the transition process and further innovating sales concepts, services, processes, and products, with a focus on further digitalization. As the figurehead of the Walraven culture, you will promote collaboration and transparency with all internal and external chain partners, ensuring that the knowledge and skills of employees remain in line with the development of the organization and its ambitions.
As the General Manager and ambassador of Walraven in the Benelux, you will be part of the GM Team Europe. In this position, you will also be involved in strategic decisions for other countries and regions. Additionally, you will represent the region externally. You will report to the Sales Director Europe.
Functie eisen
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and several years of experience as a commercial or general manager with a commercial portfolio at an international, industrial sales organization.
- Knowledge of the construction, installation, automotive and/or maritime industry.
- Experience in vision and strategy development and operationalizing them.
- A customer- and results-oriented entrepreneur with excellent commercial skills, drive and ambition.
- Experience in transition and project management.
- Experience in concept, product, and process innovation.
- A broad business orientation and experience with transition processes.
- Excellent leadership skills. Inspires, enthuses and coaches.
- Excellent command of the English language.
